We have decided to use our gorgeous boxer as a stud dog. His full pedigree name is Bordeaux Brewery-Boy Brogue but we nicknamed him Doughball which really suits him as he is a big doughy softie!! He is our family pet (we have 2 children) and we kept him from our female boxers first litter as he was pick of the litter. He is an absolute stunner with great markings and natural bobtail from a mum with a natural bobtail (we have mum too). No heart murmur. He is a real looker and a big softy with a heart of gold which is why we decided to stud him.

He is proven having had a number of litters with more than half having a natural bobtail including two litters that were 11 and 12 in numbers!!! All had clear hearts and a fit bill of health from their vet checks. We are based in Oxfordshire and have a lovely big lawned garden for the dogs to have their dates and some privacy. I can assure you that he is the perfect gentleman on all his “dates” he is playful and respectful – a true gent!!

In the selection of a stud there are many things to consider. Health and temperament being the most important.
We can trace the heritage of Doughball back four generations. Oakley was a show dog an excellent well-mannered dog and the perfect gentleman. He was stud to a local female dog called boxer called sugar. One her off spring was a stunning well-constructed boy dog called Buster and he went on to preform at stud and fathered a litter with a male offspring called George.

George is Doug balls K9 father. We had George with us for many years and retired him from stud last year and he now enjoys his life on the south coast. He is being totally spoilt and the centre of his new owner’s worlds. This whole heritage of the male line contains no known illnesses.

Doughball stayed with is for two weeks during the summer of 2019.

Everything written above I can verify for you. Doughball is an excellent example of a male boxer dog. We kept a puppy from our last litter– this was the first litter Dougball sired. She is called Hopey the second. She is often in schools with me and her temperament and markings are exceptional.

Paul and Lisa have raised doughball in their family home, he is balanced and is a stunning looking dog.
